At the heart of the part of Ardèche called “Green Ardèche”, amidst orchards, pastures and a river, CHANTELOUVE is a former farm that has been entirely renovated. Nestled at the end of a tiny hamlet, its view embraces the whole Doux River Valley.

In this rural hamlet, the air is filled with the sweet sent of fruits during the harvest season. Life follows the rhythm of the neighborhood’s agricultural activities, and by turn cherries, apricots, peaches, nectarines and apples pile up on fragranced crates.

The countryside all around is open and peaceful.

You will hear the bells from the surrounding villages and the whistle of the lovely steam train that winds along the curves of the Doux River.
At dusk, with the cry of nightjars and the discreet cawing of frogs on their mating season, you may catch the swift flow of pipistrelles, and delight, in the darkness of Spring nights, at the delicate song of the nightingale.
